Chrishell Stause Says She and ‘DWTS’ Partner Gleb Savchenko Didn’t Have an Affair

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause said she didn’t have an affair with Gleb Savchenko after the Dancing With the Stars dancer — Chrishell’s partner in the ABC reality competition’s 29th season — announced his split from wife Elena Samodanova.

But Elena maintains Gleb did cheat on her with multiple women, with a “recent inappropriate relationship” causing turmoil in their marriage. Here’s the full story.

Gleb announced the split after 14 years of marriage.

“It is with a heavy heart that I tell you my wife and I are parting ways after 14 years of marriage,” Gleb wrote on Instagram on Nov. 6.

He told followers that he and Elena “still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together,” daughters Olivia, 9, and Zlata, 3. “And we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them,” he wrote. “We ask that you respect our family’s need for privacy and healing during this time.”

Elena accused Gleb of “ongoing infidelity.”

For her part, Elena seemingly alluded to the split in an Instagram post on Friday. “I don’t hate you,” the image in her post read. “I’m just disappointed you turned into everything you said you’d never be.”

In a People interview posted on Nov. 7, the Russian dancer said her trust in Gleb is “irrevocably broken” and accused him of multiple extramarital relationships.

“After 14 years of marriage, and multiple affairs, I’ve decided enough is enough,” Elena told the magazine. “Gleb and I have created a family and multiple businesses together. But apparently, it just wasn’t enough to keep our marriage strong. Gleb’s ongoing infidelity and a recent inappropriate relationship has created turmoil in our marriage and absolutely torn our family apart.”

She went on: “No wife should ever stand by and watch while another woman gifts her husband expensive presents, lures him out to dinners and seduces him at every turn. Last night was the final straw, and I can no longer turn my head the other way. My trust in Gleb is irrevocably broken and it is time that I walk away and begin to heal, so I can be the best version of myself for my girls.”

Chrishell denied being the other woman.

Chrishell, who recently showed off a bouquet of roses she got from Gleb after their “first fight,” expressed sympathy toward Gleb and Elena but denied having an affair with her DWTS partner. (Chrishell and Gleb were eliminated from the competition on Nov. 2.)

“I am so saddened about the news of Gleb and Elena’s split. It is unfortunate that this has caused rumors to swirl about my personal life,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories, per People.

She also cited her own divorce, after breaking up with This Is Us actor Justin Hartley in November 2019.

“Having gone through a public split myself, I would not wish this on anyone,” she wrote. “As you can imagine, the countless hours of training, and dance rehearsals has created a strong supportive friendship, but nothing more. I wish nothing but the best for both Gleb and Elena during this unfortunate time.”
