Senate Confirms Justice Ariwoola As CJN
The Red Chamber of the National Assembly on Wednesday confirmed Justice Olukayode Ariwoola as the substantive Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN). Ariwooola was confirmed at about 12:5pm after answering all the questions asked by the Senators when the Senate resorted to the Committee of the Whole.
During the exercise, the lawmakers requested that the acting CJN be asked to take a bow and go after he successfully responded to questions posed to him during screening.
